Dental Insurance is an important part of an employee benefits program. In my client base, approximately 90% of my clients offer some sort of dental offering. A good, solid dental program should cost less than $30 per employee per month, and premium can be lower than that depending on how your plan is setup. I typically recommend that employers offer dental on a voluntary basis which allows the employees who want the coverage to take it and pay for it completely since it is so inexpensive. This approach also allows employers to focus their contribution dollars on the more costly benefit programs and still allows them to offer great benefits like dental insurance to those who really need it. |
