Life insurance is a very important piece of an employee benefits program. Chances are, about 90% of your employees or co-workers do not have adequate amounts of life insurance.

Employer sponsored programs are very inexpensive, usually costing just a few dollars a month and at a minimum will provide some final expense protection for your employee population.

Employers can also offer additional voluntary buy up options for employees who would like additional amounts of life insurance, but might not necessarily qualify in the individual market. This is a great way to help employees who might have some sort of medical history and cannot qualify for anything on their own.
